F1 | Force India, Mallya: “I suggest skeptics take back their words about us”

360 points in two years and a double fourth place in the constructors' classification: la Force India it certainly turned out to be the fairy tale of these last two years of Formula 1. Vijay Mallya, on the sidelines of the "Autosport Awards", commented with immense satisfaction on the Indian team's 2017, also revealing the ambitions of the day before: "We set out with the intention of finishing third, but instead we finished fourth for the second year in a row" – said the owner of Force India.

“Many people were skeptical and I personally suggest they eat their words and hope they taste good. I am very happy that, despite limited resources, we managed to go well beyond our possibilities” – continued Mallya. "I have great drivers (in reference to Perez and Ocon, ed.), who have Formula 1 in their blood and who know how to make the most of what they have. We won't give up! The goal for 2018 will be ambitious again: we are ready to compete".
