F1 | AlphaTauri, Gasly immediately behind Kvyat: “Fun to drive in these conditions”

Good day also for Pierre Gasly. The AlphaTauri driver followed his teammate Kvyat, finishing in seventh position after the first two free practice sessions of the Turkish Grand Prix, currently taking place at Istanbul Park, back on the calendar after nine years of absence. The Frenchman confirms his excellent form, and hopes to be able to replicate his today's performances also in tomorrow's qualifying, when the track conditions, extreme today, could be decisive.

“This morning it was a bit traumatic to discover how slippery the track was, but overall it was quite fun to drive in these conditions – Gasly said. It's really unusual to drive an F1 with so little grip. I think we'll have to review a bit what we want to do tomorrow with the set-up and strategy for the weekend and try to start from there. The performance so far has seemed good, but everything is very complicated, so we must not miss a beat if we want to be competitive tomorrow."
