Alguersuari ready for a return to F1

Jaime Alguersuari he admitted that he took Red Bull's late decision to exclude him from Toro Rosso badly.

As previously reported, the 2012-year-old has announced that he will not be in the paddock in XNUMX despite there being speculation that he would be third driver at Mercedes.

The Spaniard admitted that the partial interruption of his career was not "necessary".

“At the grand prix of Brazil the position at Toro Rosso was verbally confirmed to me, after this confirmation I did not consider any excellent negotiations. A couple of days later Toro Rosso sent me to the headquarters of the sponsor Cepsa, and at dinner I talked about my relationship with Toro Rosso."

“No one has ever explained to me why I didn't meet the team's expectations, I think I improved compared to 2010 and beat my teammate, they sent me away in December without the material time to get a place for 2012” .

“I only think about F1, I'm 21 years old and I've raced 46 grand prix, I'm no longer a rookie”.

“I also reached out Luis Perez-Sala(HRT boss) my friend and mentor in December, but we both agreed that HRT didn't have the right car for me and at my age I can't spend time developing a car."

“Williams? It was never an option, they just wanted paying drivers."

“In January I had discussions with one of the best teams around, and this could be decisive regarding my future. I received great love and respect so we opened a path. I can't say the nature of our intentions, but I can say that I will put my heart and soul into F1 in 2012."

“I will prepare myself, without contracts with anyone, to be ready if there should be any opportunity.”
