Villeneuve: “The world championship isn't over yet”

The former world champion spoke about Rosberg's title chances

Villeneuve: “The world championship isn't over yet”

The world championship is still in the balance and will probably be decided at the last race. This is the thought of Jacques Villeneuve who, in a recent interview with Minute Auto, had his say on the complicated end of the season for the Mercedes drivers.

Se Nico Rosberg has the favor of prediction on his side, everything could still change at any moment: “Nothing is decided yet – said the former world champion – a small problem for Rosberg and Hamilton could leave Brazil at the top of the world championship. So it's not over yet."

“For the moment things are going well for Rosberg – he added – He is driving with a lot of maturity and reflection even if he hasn't been fast in the last few races”.

For Villeneuve the German deserved his position in the standings, built thanks to a great test of maturity: “His success lasted the whole season, he concentrated on every grand prix and if he wins the championship it will be the little things that make the difference".

“Hamilton returned to his usual level of concentration but both drivers had their difficult period and Rosberg was the most reactive; unlike Hamilton, who relied only on his natural talent, he is progressing season after season."
