Petrov: Alonso's gestures showed his 'bad manners'
di StaffNovember 19, 2010
Fernando Alonso's reaction to the defeat in the last race of the championship showed his lack of education, according to Vitaly Petrov, the driver who with his Renault prevented Alonso from overtaking him in the Abu Dhabi race.
After the cars crossed the finish line, the Spaniard moved next to the Russian driver and gestured maliciously towards him.
“His gestures showed how rude he is,” Petrov said in an interview with Spanish sports daily Marca. “I always followed the rules, and if he didn't agree with something, he had to keep it to himself. I did my race and he did his. This is my job, and I only did my best.”
