Nick Heidfeld: “I can't wait to get back in the car”

After a period of stoppage, Nick Heidfeld returns to an F1 and indeed, returns to Sauber, taking the place of the Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa.

“I can't wait to get back in the car, to race a race. I'm eager to get into the car and put my helmet down to hit the track, excited to do it on the track in Singapore.

Two years ago, when we started racing here, I immediately fell in love with this track: a fairly challenging circuit on which it will be interesting to see how they resolved the bumpy situation and then racing at night is spectacular, it's another point of view" commented Heidfeld .

“I can't say how well our car will adapt to this track, I've never driven it, but both Kobayashi and the guys on the team seem positive.

For my part, I can only hope to adapt to the car as quickly as possible and also for this reason I am working hard with Kamuy (Kobayashi) and with James Key, our technical director" concluded Heidfeld.
