Mercedes, Hamilton: “2015 was my best year”

On the eve of the Abu Dhabi GP Lewis Hamilton he spoke in the usual FIA press conference on Thursday, talking about the season that is coming to an end with a look also to the future. From the mad desire to win race number 44, which is also his number, to the fascination with Nascar, passing through the "defense" of historic circuits.

“I think 2015 was the best year; the peak was Austin where I won the world title – Hamilton said - I have to thank the team who have done an extraordinary job throughout the season. I want to finish by winning race number 44 in F1, a very significant achievement for me given that it is also my race number. I love this track, with many corners where you brake late, perfect for my aggressive driving style. Between me and Nico the race will also be played on the strategies that the team decides, it will be a good challenge. Now I'm focused on F1, but one day I'd like to take part in a NASCAR race, a very spectacular category from which we could also learn some things. For F1 it is important to discover new countries and new tracks, but the right balance is needed, it is important to stay and compete on circuits full of history."
