Aerodynamics and tires were the areas on which Charles Pic , Lotus they concentrated on the inaugural day of testing in Abu Dhabi.
For the Frenchman 89 laps completed and seventh position in the standings.
“It's always fantastic to be back behind the wheel of an F1 – declared the Frenchman – Overall it went well, I completed the planned program and noticed the strong difference compared to the car driven at Silverstone. The sensations from the new Pirellis are also positive, better than the current ones in terms of traction."
