Karun Chandhok prepares for another year as third driver
Karun chandhok he said he was “mentally prepared” for another season in F1 as a third driver.
Chandhok joined the Team Lotus (now Caterham) as a reserve driver at the beginning of last year, after a season withHRT. The driver raced in a couple of free practice sessions and replaced Jarno Trulli in the German Grand Prix, but admitted that after the confirmation of Trulli and Kovalainen he's ready for another year without a starting job.
The Indian said getting a starting place is "very difficult" as there are many drivers with "good sponsors".
“I am mentally prepared to continue as the third driver”, “At the moment many teams have announced their drivers for the 2012. There are only two free seats, one with the Williams and one with HRT, so the situation is very difficult and I am ready to work hard.”
