Thursday statements

Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari): «I don't have much to add about what has happened in recent days within the Team. I believe that Mattia (Binotto, ed) has been in the Team for a long time and therefore has a lot of experience. Obviously there will be some difference but not in the short term. Of course, we are thinking about next year's car, which will be completely different from this one, but we cannot stop development because there are still things we can still learn."

Nico Hulkenberg (Force India): «It will be difficult to judge how it can go here. Just like in Hungary: the car seemed to adapt well to the track, qualifying had been a bit messed up and had worked in our favor and then in the race everything turned against us. I hope this weekend goes better so we can battle with McLaren, Toro Rosso and maybe Williams. Next year I will stay in Force India."

Pascal Wehrlein (Manor): «It's nice to be here at my home GP, where in 2000, at just 5 years old, I witnessed my first Grand Prix live. I'm not sure I can repeat Austria's tenth place, but I will try with all my might."

Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull Racing): «It was nice to be back on the podium, and I took the opportunity to appreciate it to the fullest, not like the one in Monaco. For me this will be the 100th GP: on the one hand I can say that they flew by, on the other that it took time and effort and if I think about when I was at HRT, I can't help but think of everything I faced. There will be an opportunity to battle with Mercedes in Singapore, or if it rains in one of the next GPs. Now we are close to Ferrari in the constructors' championship and we need a few more podiums to be ahead of them."

Rio Haryanto (Manor): «It's nice to be able to be defined as a good qualifying driver, but it's in the race that I want to improve and we are working on this with the Team, so I can at least battle with my teammate if the strategy allows it. My contract expires this year and I would like to thank those who support me from Indonesia and all my team for their hard work, I hope to keep my seat."

Felipe Nasr (Sauber): «I am happy with the acquisition of Sauber, as are those who work there, I see it in their faces with a smile and the desire to work has returned. We were very limited in what we could do this year, on the development and performance of the car. Now we expect to have some decent improvements after the break andhold and I want to get to the points. I want to bring the car back to being competitive, I want points for the Team."
