Formula 1 | Red Bull, Gasly preaches calm: "I want to fight for the title, but it will take time"

Interviewed by RMC, Pierre Gasly spoke about the challenges that await him during the next championship, underlining how the priority will be to gain the right experience in a top team like Red Bull.

The objective in the future, obviously, will be to fight for race victories and the world title, but at the same time the Frenchman is aware of how it will take time to achieve those results.

Here are the words of Pierre Gasly: “This will be my second season in Formula 1 and I know I still have many things to learn. I was in Mexico for the Race of Champions and on this occasion I had a chat with Sebastian Vettel, asking him when he truly felt at the peak of his performances. I'm slowly gaining the right experience and therefore I know that over time I will improve myself."

On the next season he added: “My goal is to win races and fight for the title. It will take time and it won't be easy, but to be world champion you have to defeat the best drivers. Max, precisely in this sense, will be an excellent opportunity, given that we are talking about one of the strongest riders in the paddock."
