Formula 1 | Alpine, decisive push against McLaren in the constructors' fight?

Alpine gave a very strong push, probably decisive in the fight for fourth place in the constructors' championship. In fact, the French team closed the Brazilian Grand Prix with Alonso fifth and Ocon eighth, but above all with the two McLarens out. Both drivers recovered after a negative Sprint Race in which they collided twice, but they managed to form a team, with the Spaniard even able to pass the Red Bulls and give the Ferraris a hard time.

The race was well executed by both drivers, they had a high pace and managed to finish in the top ten. Esteban was on a two-stop strategy, Fernando on three and was able to attack at the end, also aided by the final Safety Car. The world championship is not over, it will be after the checkered flag in Abu Dhabi. We have to stay focused and finish in the best way possible. We're almost done."
