Formula 1 | Alfa Romeo Sauber, Leclerc can't wait to get on the track: "Let's hope for rain"

Everything is ready at Alfa Romeo Sauber for the next United Kingdom Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2018 Formula One World Championship. After the double points placing achieved in Austria, Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson are ready to confirm the potential of the C37 also on the Silverstone track. The objective, as always, will be to try to maximize performance, making the most of this year's technical package. The circuit is very similar to that of Barcelona, both in terms of configuration and asphalt, which is why the Italian-Swiss team, at least on paper, should be in the mix when it comes to a top ten finish.

Here are the words of Charles Leclerc: “I can't wait to drive at Silverstone. It's a high-speed circuit and I'm a big fan of these layouts. In general, I really like driving in wet conditions. The weather in England is always quite unpredictable, so I'm hoping there will be a bit of rain to spice things up. It's a historic race and the stands are always full of fans who come to support us. This will make the atmosphere even more special and I can't wait to get back in the car."

Here are Marcus Ericsson's impressions: “With its many high-speed corners, the Silverstone track requires a lot of downforce and a stable car. In terms of car set-up, in fact, the challenge will be to balance the requirements of the older part of the circuit, which is very fast and full of straights, with the characteristics of the new, more driven section."
