Formula 1 | Alfa Romeo Sauber, Ericsson on track with a new power unit

Marcus Ericsson will start from the back of the grid in the next Italian Grand Prix, the fourteenth round of this 2018 Formula 1 world championship. The Alfa Romeo Sauber team has in fact chosen to replace the entire power unit after yesterday's daring accident, preventing any technical problem due to the unit being damaged during free practice 2.

This replacement will lead the Swede to serve a grid penalty and will force him to start close to the duo of Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkeberg, who were also penalized for the replacement of the unit (they will mount the C version of the Renault power train. ed.).

It should be noted that the technicians, in addition to the power unit, also chose to replace the chassis on the Swede's C37, given that the one mounted yesterday suffered several damages and did not guarantee the right safety for the rest of the weekend.
