Ferrari: the future runs in Fiorano

Ferrari Driver Academy – Confirming an increasingly lively interest in youth motorsport, in recent days the Santander Driving Experience has seen some of its young protagonists engaged in an internship organized at the Maranello Ferrari Driver Academy. Among them, the Spanish Marta Ariza, winner of the 2013 edition of the Beca Santander-RFEdA Jóvenes Promesas - scholarship created five years ago by the Spanish Bank - the American Jake Craig, the Mexican Axel Matus and the Brazilian Pietro Fittipaldi, nephew of famous Emerson. After undergoing medical and physical tests, the day before yesterday the young participants faced the simulator and the Mind Room, while yesterday - at the end of the program - they took to the Fiorano track for a few practice laps at the wheel of a single-seater : a Formula 4 for Marta, Jake and Axel and a Formula 3 for Pietro. On the same occasion, the Scuderia's partner, active sponsor of the Spanish Karting Championship, wanted to offer a group of very young kart drivers the opportunity to visit the Maranello factories and meet their young colleagues and the Academy team for a souvenir photo of the day.
