Ferrari: testing suspended in Bahrain due to chassis damage

Ferrari suspended its testing in Bahrain, on the second day of collective testing in Sakhir, due to chassis damage caused by a hard jump by Kimi Raikkonen on the curb of turn 4 in free practice 1 of the Bahrain GP.

On Friday, after the excursion, the team had replaced the bottom but now damage to the chassis was also found.

As a precaution, Ferrari stopped its testing after just 12 laps with Fernando Alonso and is unlikely to return to the track. Yesterday the Maranello team completed 69 laps.
