F1 | Toro Rosso, Buemi on pole for Gasly's succession

Sebastian Buemi is in pole position to succeed Pierre Gasly at Toro Rosso. According to what was reported by the newspaper Blick, in fact, the Scuderia di Faenza is negotiating with the Swiss for a full commitment in the next championship, entrusting him with the keys to the development of the future STR14.

Buemi, we remember, has already worked in Faenza in the two-year period 2010/2011, achieving several good results but not completely convincing Helmut Marko and the Red Bull managers. Hence the choice to remove him in favor of Jaime Alguersuari.

In recent years, however, Seb has demonstrated many qualities, especially in the Endurance World Championship with Toyota, and would be ready to resume a chapter of his career that he believes he left halfway.
