Daniel Ricciardo was present at the Monaco GP press conference held this afternoon. The Australian, like the other drivers present at the press conference, also wanted to say a word to remember Niki Lauda:
“Kind man, I remember many chats. He was exceptional as a driver and the moments spent in private with him always showed me how kind he was”.
Last year, Ricciardo won the Grand Prix and this year he finds himself struggling with a car that at the moment has not given him the performance he hoped for:
“There is an ongoing process, I'm not surprised even if we were hoping for better results. It would have been nice to get more seventh places than struggle in the top ten, but we didn't expect to be fighting for podiums at this point in the season. I see the growth and the motivation for me has not dropped an inch. I feel like everything I do is taken into consideration by the team. In terms of environment, I feel very good and I hope to have a good weekend here to give a boost to our season."
