F1 | Ricciardo: “We need to work on downforce”

Third time in the morning for the rider Red Bull, who instead remained to watch the rain from the pits in the afternoon, to save the set of wet tyres. Here are his words at the end of the day.

“This morning wasn't bad, but Ferrari e Mercedes they are still faster though. The car performed quite well. This evening we will have to work on the aerodynamic load: today I had more than Mercedes and Ferrai in the corners, but on the straight I was losing too much."

“If there had been intermediate track conditions we would have also ridden in the FP2, but we don't have an extra set of full wets so we haven't left the pits. I hope that next year they will change this tire rule. We lost a few laps but if qualifying is wet tomorrow we will have the tires available, and that is more important."

“I feel ready for a place in the top three in qualifying; I'm confident I can do the best this weekend with my car."
