F1 | Renault RS20, the car for the 2020 season unveiled in Paris
The single-seater that Ricciardo and Ocon will use next season has been presented
The new Renault RS20 was presented in Paris, the car with which Esteban Ocon and Daniel Ricciardo will face the next 2020 Formula 1 world championship. The single-seater, as expected, is an evolution of the technical package of the RS19, with the French team choosing to focus mainly on the weak points that emerged last season.
Starting from the rear, Renault has chosen to reduce the overall dimensions relating to the engine and gearbox, thus focusing on the aerodynamic load and the layout of the "Coca Cola" area (the technicians have tried to improve the directing of the flows towards the bottom and rear area speaker). As for the front, however, Renault has chosen to confirm not only the bulb in the nose, but also the Red Bull and McLaren style upwash configuration. The area of the tunnels that direct the air under the car was also touched upon.
Livery chapter: the RS20 was revealed with a black color for testing, which will only be changed in Australia (the details of the final graphics should not differ from the version used last season). Appointment on February 19th for the first pre-season work session on the Montmelo' track (live on Sky Sport F1 HD starting at 9.00).
