F1 | Red Bull, Ricciardo analyzes the season: "It was a strange championship"

In an interview given to the microphones of the official Red Bull website, Daniel Ricciardo began to take stock of this season, underlining how 2018 was one of the strangest world championships of his career. After the first Grands Prix, in fact, the Australian expected to fight for the championship, also thanks to an extremely competitive Red Bull. From Monaco onwards, however, something no longer worked with the single-seater, with many repeated breakdowns which practically cut it out of the fight for the title. A very hard blow that the future Renault driver still can't explain.

Here are the words of Daniel Ricciardo: “It was the strangest season since I raced in Formula 1. The start was probably the best of my career and after Monaco the season seemed promising. I even thought I had a chance at the world title. Unfortunately, from that moment onwards there were some things that no longer worked."

“I feel like I'm driving the right way. My confidence has never waned, but my motivation and love for the sport has gone through some ups and downs over the past few months. Luckily I'm a person who recovers quite quickly."he concluded.
