Among the drivers who are suffering the most from the change of car is undoubtedly Daniel Ricciardo. In fact, the Australian, after spending two years at Renault, landed at McLaren where, however, he is struggling to find the right feeling with the MCL35M unlike his young teammate Lando Norris. Despite these difficulties, the Woking team stands by its squire and will continue to wait for him as stated by team principal Andreas Seidl.
"Of course it is disappointing for us to know that it is taking longer than expected – said Seidl, quoted by RaceFans – But at the same time, it's not the first time, I've also experienced it in my motorsport life. It's not that easy and direct and it's complex to change teams during the winter. I am very confident and I am absolutely sure that the day will come when Daniel will feel completely at home here with the car and then we will see the Daniel we know again. QThis is a challenge we are in together as a team, together with Daniel. It is simply important in these moments to stay calm and continue working together, even taking small steps".
