F1 | Leclerc fourth after qualifying at the Nurburgring
Vettel out of the top ten, will start 11th
Charles Leclerc was the author of a great qualifying Saturday at the Nürburgring, scene of the first Eifel Grand Prix. In fact, the Monegasque will start from fourth position tomorrow, on the second row with his SF1000. The performance of Sebastian Vettel was less brilliant, as he was excluded from Q2 and will start eleventh, on the sixth row, but with a free choice of tyres.
Q3. In the decisive phase for the assignment of the first five rows of the grid, Charles had two sets of new Soft tires at his disposal. However, the Monegasque returned to the garage and relaunched himself, managing to prepare his lap in the ideal way. Charles improved in all the intermediate stages and crossed the finish line in 1'26”035, the fourth best time overall.
Competition. The first Eifel Grand Prix will start tomorrow at 14.10 pm CET. Charles will have to fit Soft tyres.
