F1 | Hulkenberg: “A difficult weekend”

Zero points for the Renault team in the 2019 Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Daniel Ricciardo retired after an absurd rear contact with Kvyat, while Nico Hulkenberg, after starting from 15th place, struggled to make progress, finishing 14th.

“It was a difficult weekend. Today I had no response or anything to offer. I was pushing very hard, I felt like I was riding at my best but I couldn't get the most out of the car today. We have a lot to figure out for the future, but maybe it's one of those mysterious weekends, which can happen. It was difficult from the first lap on Friday and we constantly struggled. It's a bitter day for me and for the team, but we will start from this and prepare as best we can for the next GP", commented Nico Hulkenberg on the Renault website.
