Even though it didn't score points Suzuki, la Haas also confirmed in Japan his good start to the season. Now it's time for Chinese Grand Prix, fifth round of the 2024 world championship formula 1. The US team is currently in seventh place in the constructors' standings, having collected 4 points, while Sauber, Williams e Alpine they are still at a standstill, something surprising considering the recent past. Hulkenberg e Magnussen have expressed their opinion regarding the next world championship event on the track Shanghai, which presents some points that can enhance the characteristics of the VF-24.

“I'm happy to return to Shanghai – Hulkenberg said. We haven't raced here for a long time, it will be interesting to see the track changes, but I have a good feeling. The layout is particular, it's not really high speed so the VF-24 shouldn't behave badly, there are a couple of low traffic corners, so our car can adapt well. Last year we had six Sprint events, some good, some really bad, but personally I didn't mind. I'm ready for some changes and this year the session format will be different, I'm curious to see how it will work."

“I scored points in Shanghai on a few occasions – Magnussen said. This year will be interesting because this track has been missing from the Formula 1 calendar for a while, and then we also have the first Sprint Race of the season, so it will be a good challenge for everyone. There are some low speed corners which hopefully will be good for us, the track offers some nice overtaking spots. I feel pretty good with the car, so I hope I can have a good race."
