F1 | Ferrari, Camilleri: "We will increase investments, the objective for 2019 is to win"
"In 2018 we achieved the best result since we won the constructors' title in 2008," said the Cavallino CEO
The CEO of Ferrari Louis Camilleri, during the conference call held today and regarding the last year's accounts (closed with a net profit increasing by 46% to 787 million euros compared to 537 million in 2017, ed.) reiterated that the objective of the Red will be to hunt down the world titles that have been missing from Maranello's showcase for over a decade.
"In 2018 we achieved our best result since we won the constructors' title in 2008 – underlined Camilleri -. For 2019 the goal is to win. There will be an increase in spending that reflects this ambition”. One aspect, that relating to the increase in resources, is also due to the new technical regulations that will come into force from 2021.
He then added: "We can only be satisfied with the results, we achieved and exceeded the objectives. It's been a solid year".
