Interviewed by the website The Race, Marci Budkowski did not rule out the entry of new teams into Formula 1 in the near future, specifying that Alpine is totally available for the supply of power units to these "structures" interested in the Circus. According to what was declared by the Technical Director of the transalpine brand, the adoption of the budget cap, combined with a more "stringent" regulation from an economic point of view, has favored the interest of brands and "private individuals" towards the Circus, an aspect which in fact it could soon lead the FIA to open a new entry call for the 2023-2024 season.

“Many people are keen to make their entry into Formula 1, with some even putting themselves out there publicly,” stated the Polish engineer. “Others, however, did not seek publicity or consensus and limited themselves to carrying on discussions with all the interesting parties. The Circus is a great reality which, fortunately, is preparing to become more sustainable from an economic point of view".

“There is a lot of interest as a result,” he continued. “Obviously it's not easy, also because the FIA has to open a tender to be able to start this process. However, if there was anyone seriously willing to fund the creation of a real team, we would be willing to provide them with our power units. It's not easy for a team to establish itself in Formula 1 right from the start. It's not easy for those who have been in this world for a long time. let alone for a rookie team, but it is a challenge that many could choose to follow."
