Alpine had been given up for dead too soon, now we will need to find confirmation in the immediate trip to Barcelona, ​​where many questions will find answers.

“It was a great weekend – Alonso explained. The car performed well and we took a big step forward, fighting with Ferrari and McLaren in the race, certainly something different compared to Bahrain and Imola. It was the first weekend where I felt really comfortable with the car and really pushing. Congratulations to the whole team, I think the progress made has been evident, and we could have done even better if we had started later today. Qualifying will be decisive in the next two races in Barcelona and Monte Carlo, so I have to focus on this aspect starting from next week."
