F1 | Alfa Romeo without points after the good performance in Istanbul

After the good performance offered, Alfa Romeo Racing returned from Istanbul without points. The Hinwil team concluded the Grand Prix in Turkey with Giovinazzi's eleventh position and Raikkonen's twelfth. The pace was good at the end, and the Martina Franca rider almost managed to pass Ocon to secure tenth place. Apparently there was also a team order not respected by the Apulian, but Fred Vasseur, team principal of Alfa Romeo Racing, made no mention of this after the race.

“The team did a very good race, both drivers had a good pace and they managed to finish ahead of Ricciardo, Russell, Alonso and others thanks to them – Vasseur said. After the negative qualifying, we started well and this allowed us to fight for the points. The conditions were not the easiest but the two drivers remained calm and got close to the top ten: in the end our car was among the fastest and after passing Ricciardo only Ocon was missing as the last obstacle to conquer tenth place. Finishing in eleventh and twelfth position is frustrating, we could have scored points for the second race in a row, but we take it as encouragement ahead of Austin."
