F1 | Alfa Romeo, Vasseur: "I have confidence, Baku is an exception in a positive season so far"

Alfa Romeo emerged with broken bones from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Hinwil team was fighting for the points with a fierce Zhou, but a technical problem on the Chinese's C42 forced him to retire. Bottas, on the other hand, did not have a good pace for the entire duration of the weekend, and at the Canadian Grand Prix the Swiss team wants to redeem itself and regain its rightful place in the points.

“The weekend in Baku was challenging for the team, but these are the circumstances in which you see the true courage of a group – said Fred Vasseur, Alfa Romeo team principal. We are determined, in Canada we want to demonstrate that last week's result is an exception compared to what we have done so far and I am confident, we will recover. There are many positive aspects to work on: we saw great pace from Zhou and we know that he would have scored in the points if he had finished the race. We're aiming to have a great weekend."
