Boullier: “It was a nice honeymoon with Räikkönen”
The Lotus boss admitted contacts with Massa and Hulk
Still saddened by having lost F1's Iceman, on the eve of the Singapore GP the Lotus it says it is ready to look to the near future and in the research phase it shows rather clear ideas on the principles to follow.
“This is how the racing world works! – said the boss Eric boullier at Autosport – I'm happy to have bet on Räikkönen for two years. It was a beautiful honeymoon that paid off both on a sporting level and in terms of popularity; It's therefore sad to know that the collaboration is over, but now it's time to move on. The list of drivers available is long and Massa and Hulkenberg are part of it. I'm not interested in hiring someone with sponsors in tow, but only those who have talent and merit. I'm here to win, not to make money."
