di F1 editorial team30 July 2009
Michael Schumacher has commented on the news of his return to Formula 1 to replace Felipe Massa, starting from the European GP. "The most important thing first: thank God, all the news regarding Felipe is comforting. I wish him the best once again. I met this afternoon (yesterday, ed.) with Stefano Domenicali and Luca di Montezemolo and together we decided that I will prepare to take Felipe's place."
"It's true that F1 was a chapter closed for me long ago and completely, but it's also true that for reasons of loyalty towards the team I can't ignore the difficult situation. But as a driver I'm looking forward to face this challenge" added Schumacher.
