At the beginning of February Formula One Management in association with FOTA began a survey with the results now starting to emerge. “We would like to thank everyone who participated and completed the survey. The results will be published and used by FOTA to decide what changes to make to make F1 more attractive to fans,” reads the web page where the investigation took place.
Over 90.000 fans filled out the questionnaire.
The final result has not yet been announced, but it emerged that Michael Schumacher was voted F1's best-known driver with 19,5 percent of the votes.
The second most voted was Fernando Alonso with 9,7 percent, followed by Kimi Raikkonen, even though the Finn moved to the WRC in 2010.
