Ferrari, Vettel wins the Race of Champions in London

Sebastian Vettel he leaves nothing on the street; the German driver, involved among other things with other F1 colleagues in the prestigious end-of-season event Race of Champions, won first place overall in the Race of Champions for the first time in his career, beating the Le Mans legend in the final Tom Kristensen.

Sebastian Vettel, protagonist for years at the Race of Champions, had already won the race six times Nations Cup (team race) paired with Michael Schumacher, without ever having won the individual competition. At the Olympic Stadium in London – where the best drivers in the world drove different types of cars, including Euro Nascar, Radical, ROC Buggy, Ktm X-BOw and the beautiful Mercedes AMG GT – Seb finished the race in second place Friday evening reserved for the nations, played together with compatriot Nico Hulkenberg, with the two formulalists who had to bow to the experience of the English Andy Priaulx and Jason Plato.

There was no story, however, in Saturday's event, with a very concentrated Vettel who beat Nico Hulkenberg in the quarter-finals, David Coulthard in the semi-final and the Dane Tom Kristensen in the final.

“In the past it was special to win this race paired with Michael, my thoughts go out to him - declared a satisfied Sebastian, complete with a cup raised to the sky - I am happy to have won the individual Race of Champions, because in the car you are alone and the result depends exclusively on you. I was particularly keen to win this race.".

Vettel is also this; a driver who, when he lowers his visor, always wants to win, and in the London stadium he delighted the many people in the stands with oversteer and trajectories like a true champion, all under the eyes of his fellow F1 rivals Button, Massa, Ricciardo, Palmer and, Exactly, Hulkenberg.
