Thursday statements

Esteban Gutierrez (Haas): «It wasn't exactly encouraging to race with a series of unfortunate events this first part of the season. And in the last three GPs I wasn't able to express myself at my best due to my health status, but now I feel better and I want to give my best. Next year? I already know where I'm going."

Felipe Nasr (Sauber): «It was a nice weekend in Baku, being able to race for once in a while without mechanical problems is nice. We had a good pace and at times I fought for the top ten. Nothing special, of course, but if we managed to repeat ourselves here too it wouldn't be bad and we could grab our first points of the season. At Sauber the situation seems to be in order now, now we want the results on the track."

Kevin Magnussen (Renault): «We tried new things on the car to better understand how it works, so if everything goes according to plan we can improve from now on. We shouldn't expect a radical change, but at least we will know how to behave in any eventuality."

Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull): «I believe that step by step things are growing positively. Speaking of race pace, Baku was a great weekend, even if we didn't manage to finish where we wanted. But there are still several races and I am increasingly settling within the Team. This will be a difficult weekend for us given the competitiveness of the PU, but we will see the true value once we get on track."

Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull Racing): «I haven't lost anything after the last two races. In Canada we had a problem with the second set of tyres, in Baku we disintegrated several compounds... not the best weekends, but there is potential to be brought out. We can do much better than eighth place and I think we will prove it here. My 2018? There's time to talk about it."

Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari): «I think that in terms of strategy we did the best we could. And people who work outside the Team can say whatever they want. We work as a team here at Ferrari and try to learn from the good and bad things. What awaits me for 2017? I know I have a contract until the end of the year and I don't know what will happen next year. Everyone was very busy talking, since I've been in F1 it's always been like this. Nothing new".
