Williams, Felipe Massa ends his career in the points: "Thanks to everyone"

The happy ending for Williams is written, in his last act, by a good Felipe Massa, combative, committed to honoring his long and beautiful career to the end. Ninth place is a small satisfaction in an objectively difficult season for Williams, which culminated with a fifth place in the Constructors' Championship which cannot satisfy Grove.

Felipe Massa: "I'm happy with ninth place, proud to have fought from the first to the last lap even in my last race, even if I was careful with the car... also because it's mine now and I can't help but thank Williams for such a gift. I want to thank everyone who accompanied me on this adventure, I finished my career with my head held high and I'm happy with what I did."

Valtteri Bottas: "It was disappointing to have to retire in the last race, but unfortunately something broke in the rear suspension and the car was really undriveable. We tried to fix the problem but it was not possible. It's a real shame to end like this, now all I can do is think about next season, I'm already impatient."
