Wehrlein: “We can compete with Sauber in Baku”
For the German it is a suitable circuit for the Manor
Last week at Villeneuve they crossed the finish line in third to last place, closing Nasr's C35 in a sandwich. Two o'clock for the first Azerbaijan GP Manor they aim to get behind both Hinwil cars.
“I didn't know what to expect from the city and I have to say that it really surprised me. It's a wonderful mix of modern and ancient. I think the fans will also like it – comments from Haryanto River – The track looks nice. In some sections you reach very high speeds and turn 15 is quite interesting because it is narrow and close to the walls. As in Monaco, a mistake could cost you dearly."
“Since this is a new track for everyone, we will try to interpret it better than the others. Being a motor track like Canada it should suit the package available well. I hope to be able to take advantage of it more and show the steps forward compared to the direct competition that are the Saubers” – analysis by pascal wehrlein.
