WEC | First tests for Fernando Alonso on the TS050

After finishing the 24 Hours of Daytona with the United team and making official his participation in the WEC "Super Season", including the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans, Fernando Alonso began adaptation work on the TS050, Toyota's LMP1 prototype with which will face this new experience in the Endurance World Championship. In fact, after the last race in Florida, the Spaniard flew to Spain, specifically to the MotorLand in Aragon, for three days of testing with the Japanese team.

The objective of the three days was to continue the adaptation work begun during the last "rookie tests" in Bahrain, focusing on all the systems that regulate the functioning of the prototype designed by the Japanese company. Furthermore, Alonso had the opportunity to test the TS050 in artificial light conditions, carrying out several night runs. An extremely important test with which the current McLaren driver has prepared his official debut in the category which will take place in March, precisely in the prologue at Le Castellet (6 and 7 April. ed.).
