Vettel: “Now we have to keep our feet on the ground”

Sebastian Vettel – In qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel, took the front row behind Lewis Hamilton.

“Today we had a good pace and in the end it was a very close battle with Lewis. Last year we found ourselves in the same conditions, with intermediate wet tires at the end, and we ended up a tenth off the pace. So maybe next year… This result certainly puts us in a good position for tomorrow. I think the goal is to have the best race possible, and then we'll see. The nature of the track suits our car well, and therefore I think we can do well, although here in Sepang you never know. Rain can come at any time and ruin everything. Now we have to keep our feet on the ground and think about ourselves. Mercedes are very strong and have a clear advantage, but it would be nice to try to give them a run for their money tomorrow. It's been a little too easy for them in the last few months."
