Theissen: "Several offers for BMW Sauber"

Mario Theissen admitted in Valencia that he could remain with the Hinwil team even after BMW's exit. The German, who has been with the Monaco house for years, is now working with Peter Sauber to try to ensure a future for the Swiss team.

"As far as my future is concerned, I am open to different possibilities but at the moment I am not thinking about it" said Theissen. "The first priority is to ensure a future for the team in my current role. After the season we will see what happens to me."

Recently Peter Sauber was unable to convince BMW with his offer but BMW Sauber AG sent an entry request to the FIA ​​for the 2010 world championship.

"We didn't have to communicate the name of the engine supplier but in any case we gave some indications, we are in negotiations with various engine manufacturers and there should be a solution" added Theissen.

"There are several interested parties, and we are evaluating individual offers," he said in relation to the possible new majority shareholder.
