The organizers of the Singapore GP they have not yet signed the renewal of the contract to be able to host the race even after 2012 and have declared that they do not want to pay “too many dollars” for the race.

According to Channel NewsAsia, the government will only renew the street circuit contract if it is “economically acceptable”.
