Rosberg: “Our qualifying performance today in Budapest was surprising”
The German will start fourth at the Hungarian GP
di Staff27 July 2013
Nico Rosberg will start from fourth position on the grid at the Hungarian GP. While his teammate Lewis Hamilton took pole, the German had to settle for the second row, slowed down by a failure in the brake distributor.
“Our speed was a bit of a surprise today as we concentrated on finding an optimal set-up for a good race pace this weekend” commented Rosberg.
“I hope I can get a good start even though I'm on the dirty side of the grid. Qualifying wasn't perfect for me in the end, the stuck brake distribution didn't help, so I couldn't use it on that lap. This cost me some time, but pole was not possible today. Now we look to tomorrow and I hope for an improvement with the hot conditions compared to previous races."
