Renault F1. Fernando Alonso: "Race decided by the outcome of qualifying"
di F1 editorial team4 October 2009
Fernando Alonso, P10
"My race was decided long after qualifying because, even having a competitive car and pushing hard, it wasn't enough to score points. We must now concentrate on the last two races and manage to qualify well because if I'm sure we can have some good races and therefore have a good end to the season."
Romain Grosjean, P16
"Overall it was a difficult afternoon for me. The car was very heavy with the fuel load and it was difficult to drive, I had a lot of understeer. The Suzuka circuit was a new experience for me this weekend, but I did my best to complete the race without any problems. Now I'm looking forward to the next race in Brazil."
