Red Bull, Ricciardo: “We should have been third”

Finally a positive start to the weekend for Red Bull, which managed to place the two single-seaters of Milton Keynes in the second and third row on the starting grid of Monaco Grand Prix.
The team principal is satisfied with the performance of both its drivers Christian horner. Daniel Ricciardo lost a handful of tenths due to incorrect communication with the pits, but overall the team believes it has extracted the most from the cars and is confident in a consistent race and good points for Sunday.

Daniel Ricciardo; fourth place behind Ferrari di Hag: “I'm a bit disheartened because I think we should have finished in third place. At the start of the last lap I couldn't communicate with the wall and we missed a good opportunity. In Monaco, every place on the grid counts but we are still in a good position to attack and we will do everything we can to try to finish on the podium tomorrow. I've always had fun on this track, especially having to fight with the car between the curbs; I'll try to enjoy it in the race."

Daniil Kvyat; fifth position for the Russian, between his teammate and Ferrari's Raikkonen: “It was a good Qualifying for the team but we are not where we would have liked, even if we have made some progress and are going in the right direction: we are in a good position for tomorrow's race. The little rain didn't affect us too much during Qualifying but we have to wait until tomorrow and see if it turns out to be a determining factor."
