Red Bull, Marko: “Our true potential has been showing since mid-season”
For the Austrian manager we have to wait half the championship to see a competitive Red Bull
In small steps, knowing that we are starting with a slight disadvantage, but confident that we can recover up to third place in the Constructors' standings. The Milton Keynes consultant Helmut Marko he lays out the cards for the world championship and dictates the line to follow for his Red Bull Racing, that is, keeping strong at the beginning and then giving his best from mid-year onwards, thanks to the highly anticipated progress of the TAG-Heuer Renault engine.
"From mid-world onwards our situation should improve – explained Marko – lRenault PU development is going in the right direction. TO at the beginning of the championship I see a Mercedes that can still do one-two in succession. Behind is Ferrari, then I think a three-way fight between Williams, Force India and Toro Rosso. Only after that is Red Bull. Then it will be our turn to move up, as soon as we can have engine power equal to that of our direct rivals. And third place in the standings is a possible goal."
