Mercedes GP: Good progress in free practice in Shanghai

NICO ROSBERG
"We made good progress with the set-up throughout the day and tried new options. I lost some time due to oversteer towards the end of the afternoon and we need to understand the reasons for this. We are good point with the tire evaluation. The pace should be very similar to that of Malaysia but we will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow."

Michael Schumacher
"Today the tests went better than I expected. We brought some improvements here with the new rear wing and so I remain quite confident for the rest of the weekend even if the general classification doesn't change much from the first three races. I was a bit unlucky this morning due to a puncture on the left rear tire and therefore I continued the second session with only three new tires but in the end everything worked well."
