IndyCar | Alonso comments on the test with Andretti: "Nice to be back behind the wheel of an Indy car"

With a post published on the Facebook and Instagram channels, Fernando Alonso expressed his satisfaction with the first test with the Andretti team, underlining how exciting it was to be back behind the wheel of an IndyCar car. The Spaniard, we remember, climbed aboard the Dallara DW12 on the Barber Motorsport track, starting an apprenticeship which, almost certainly, will lead him to tackle the US series in 2019. The objective of this new experience, obviously, will be to achieve the victory in the Indianapolis 500, the only trophy missing to achieve the "Triple Crown".

Alonso wanted to thank the Andretti team and McLaren for the great opportunity, also expressing his opinion on Barber Motorsport, theater of the test. An important experience in view of 2019 which, we are sure, will also be replicated in the coming weeks.
