The leading edge of the nose has a much flatter shape
di Staff20 June, 2015
All the latest developments, introduced by the Anglo-German team starting from the Spanish GP, were brought onto the track at the Austrian GP on both Mercedes.
Compared to the latest appointments, the nose has been updated, right at its end. As you can see from the comparison below, the leading edge of the nose has a much flatter shape than previous versions. Thanks to this modification, Mercedes engineers are trying to accelerate the air flow with a consequent increase in downforce at the front.
