Formula 1 | Todt bets on Ferrari: “The SF90 is a good car” [VIDEO]
On Leclerc he added: "The Rossa's choice on the Monegasque was courageous and should be rewarded"
Speaking during the last Geneva Motor Show, Jean Todt spoke about the performances displayed by Ferrari during the last eight days of work on Spanish soil, underlining how the Italian team succeeded in the feat of catching up and surpassing the technical package proposed by Mercedes in recent seasons.
The new SF90, in fact, met the technicians' expectations and managed to be competitive in all aspects of the race, an aspect that bodes well for Melbourne. Small note on reliability, given that the Ferrari-powered cars had several stops in the second four days, but nothing that can't be resolved quickly.
As regards Leclerc, however, the President of the FIA wanted to praise the choice promoted by John Elkann and Mattia Binotto, highlighting how the Monegasque has all the capabilities to prove to be a winning weapon in the duel with Mercedes and Red Bull.
