Formula 1 | Pirelli test, Leclerc on track with Sauber
The Monegasque will test next year's tires in Mexico: a clear choice from a market perspective
La Clean chose Charles Leclerc to carry out i Pirelli tests scheduled at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The tests in question will be carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday: the Monegasque will thus have the opportunity to taste next year's tires and improve his feeling with the C36, with which he will also contest the FP1 of the next Grand Prix in Brazil. Shifting attention to the drivers' market, the choice to entrust Leclerc with this test clarifies the Swiss team's intention to focus heavily on the young man owned by Ferrari: according to the latest rumours, in fact, in 2018 he should be the one to share the garage with Marcus Ericsson.
Joining Sauber in Mexico City on Tuesday will be Force India, also involved in the Pirelli tests with the young reserve driver Alfonso Celis.
